THERE ARE SO MANY WAYS TO SAVE MONEY ON YOUR TAX
AND SOME OF THEM HAVE TO APPLY TO YOU & YOUR BUSINESS
The Taxation
Examiner is designed to make our subscribers aware of all the
tax deductions that are legally available to them. We DO NOT
try to bypass your accountant. Your accountants can only act
on the information you supply them with and let’s face it
nobody knows your business as well as you do.
The Taxation
Examiner
provides a service to thousands of businesses including
sole traders and companies, professionals, tax agents,
accountants, primary producers and tradespeople.
The service we provide makes you fully aware of the
questions you need to ask. Accountants are not mind
readers and are only as good as the information you
supply them with. Only with your input can the best
results be achieved.
Since 1989 our surveys have shown that most small to
medium businesses pay too much tax because they are
unaware of many legitimate deductions.
The Taxation Examiner
contains hundreds of tax saving tips. Our writers are
constantly researching Australian taxation legislation
that relates to you and your business. They then
condense it into everyday language resulting in
minutes of reading instead of hours.
All you need to do is
highlight any areas that may be relevant to you or
your business and discuss them with your accountant
the next time you visit.

Contributions To
Superannuation
You don’t need to make cash contributions to a
superannuation fund to claim a tax deduction. Assets
such as shares or business real property may be
transferred to a superannuation fund by an employer
and a deduction claimed for their value. Watch the
possible stamp duty and CGT costs and make sure the
contributions are actually made before the year end to
claim a deduction.
