Beware of Imitators & Bogus Callers
The Taxation Examiner is the original telemarketed tax help service published in
Australia. We started the service in 1989 to assist businesses, professional
practitioners, primary producers, and self-employed people to be more aware of their
legitimate tax deductions.
We have had complaints from many of our subscribers about unwelcome calls and
"bogus" billing by imitators. These callers sometimes send publications with
accounts using photocopies of our newsletter.
We have had calls from several of our old clients who have been rung by people
purporting to have bought our business and asking for renewal money. Others are
making outlandish offers and sending the initial printed media to get the payment then
disappearing. There are too many tricksters with too many tricks to mention.
When you receive your invoice please make sure the name on the invoice is "The
Taxation Examiner (No 1) Pty Ltd as trustee". Also ensure that you send your
